Plastic is classified
by codes, from no. 1 to no. 7.
If you look at the bottom of any plastic
container or object, you may see a number in the center of a triangle.
The number is a code for which type of plastic was used to make
the object. Since each plastic is made from a different starting
chemical, each plastic object can only be recycled with others made
from the same type of plastic.
